The university is spearheading sanitation collection initiatives, ensuring cleaner and greener surroundings for our neighboring communities.

Important Dates & Details:

  • Expanded Trash Pick-ups: Starting August 14th, we are enhancing our trash collection services. Residences along Broadway Street between St. Charles Avenue and Willow Street can now expect additional trash and debris pick-ups on Mondays and Thursdays.

  • Service Provider: We've contracted with River Parish Disposal for a thorough trash bag pickup and clean sweeps to address any stray debris on the sidewalks. Look for the red trucks with the gator on it!

  • Placement: If you live in the designated area, please ensure your trash bags are securely tied and placed at the curb for collection.

  • Debris Collection Team: To ensure a cleaner neighborhood, a team will be on foot alongside the trash truck on Mondays and Thursdays, attending to any leftover debris.

  • City's Regular Collection: The City of New Orleans will proceed with its usual Wednesday trash collection route.

  • Annual Additional Neighborhood Pick-ups:
