Paul Cantor, speaker: "Shakespeare's Henry V and Biblical Kingship" Thursday, November 4th at 7:00 p.m.
Paul Cantor is the Clifton Waller Barrett Professor in the Department of English at the University of Virginia. He received his PhD at Harvard in1971. He has been a Visiting Professor of Government at Harvard and a member
of the National Council on the Humanities. His numerous books and articles
include Shakespeare’s Roman Trilogy (Chicago 2017), Shakespeare: Hamlet
(Cambridge 2004), and Pop Culture and the Dark Side of the American Dream:
Con Men, Gangsters, Drug Lords and Zombies (Kentucky 2019).
