The Judeo-Christian Studies Program will host Joel Kaminsky, the Morningstar Professor of Jewish Studies and Professor of Religion at Smith College, for his lecture "Divine Recompense in the Bible." Kaminsky received his PhD from the University of Chicago Divinity School and has been a Visiting Professor at Duke, Harvard, and Yale Divinity School. He is the author of numerous books, edited collections, and articles, including The Hebrew Bible for Beginners: A Jewish and Christian Introduction, Yet I Loved Jacob: Reclaiming the Biblical Concept of Election, “Would you Impugn My Justice?,” “The Theology of Genesis.”
