Tulane University's new student move-in day is
Wednesday, August 21st from 8 a.m. - 6 p.m.
and our returning student move-in day is
Saturday, August 24th from 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.
We anticipate increased traffic along Broadway, Calhoun, State, S. Claiborne, Willow, Freret, and St. Charles as students and parents enter and exit campus.
Students have assigned move-in time slots on the above listed days to control traffic and unloading. They are not allowed on campus until their time slot begins. TUPD and NOPD will control access to campus and facilitate traffic flow on all move-in days. We will have signage in place for unloading, queuing, and parking. Unloading will be allowed on Freret and Broadway but we are not allowing parking on those streets. Students and parents will be directed to an appropriate parking lot after they complete unloading.
