Few classes in history have endured the level of disruption that the class of 2020 has experienced. As the first class in a century to graduate during a global pandemic, we are delighted to finally recognize and honor their academic accomplishments.
Tulane’s Class of 2020 Commencement Ceremony honors the graduating students from all of the university's schools and colleges. The ceremony will take place on Friday, April 22 at 6:30 p.m. in Yulman Stadium.
This event will include live New Orleans jazz, recognition of our 2020 graduates as they cross the stage and a keynote address by Col. Douglas G. Hurley, a 1988 Tulane graduate, NASA astronaut and commander of the first crewed test flight of the SpaceX Crew Dragon. The ceremonies will conclude with a brief fireworks display at approximately 9:30 p.m.
