Tulane University and Broadmoor will be bringing a tower crane onto the Uptown campus to continue Housing Phase 2 construction.
Expected Timeline The tower crane mobilization and setup project will commence on Thursday, November 2, and is anticipated to conclude by Monday, November 6.
Expected Impact Please be prepared for the presence of large trucks staged on Drill Road. Temporary and periodic traffic closures and delays may occur as trucks and equipment are maneuvered on site. All parking spaces on Drill Road will be unavailable. Some parking spaces on Newcomb Place will be blocked. Additionally, some parking spaces on McAlister Drive at the corner of Drill Road in front of Katherine & William Mayer Residences will be obstructed.
We kindly request that you heed all signage, barricades, fencing, and guidance from on-site personnel.
Work Hours Monday to Friday: 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Activities generating a significant level of noise are not authorized to commence prior to 8 a.m. Contractors have permission to mobilize at the site 30 minutes before the construction start time, but excessive noise is not permitted during this time frame. Should you experience excessive noise or disruption outside the designated work hours, please do not hesitate to contact Campus Services.
Contractor Access to Campus & Off-Campus Buildings Contractors are contractually obligated to abide by all city ordinances pertaining to site access.
