SPECIAL COMMUNICATIONS FOR OUR NEIGHBORS

  • June 26, 2020: Visit the Return-to-Campus page for current information and operational plans.
  • May 29, 2020 - Re-opening Plans:  The fall 2020 semester begin on Wednesday, Aug. 19, five days earlier than originally scheduled, and continue through Tuesday, Nov. 24. Most final exams will be taken online after Thanksgiving. This accelerated fall semester is intended to reduce travel to promote the health and safety of the community. Read the full announcement.
  • April 7, 2020 - For our neighbors:  Like most universities, Tulane has shifted classes online, and most students have returned home. However, because some of our students remain on and off-campus in New Orleans, campus facilities such as The Commons remain accessible to students, faculty and staff, but are closed to the general public. All recreation facilities, including the Reily Center and tennis courts, are closed. The outdoor areas of the uptown campus currently remain open for you to bike, run, or walk through. Please practice social distancing measures and please do not loiter, picnic, or gather on campus during this time.
  • March 23, 2020 -  For our neighbors: Please be aware that due to the reduced on-campus staffing, hours, and services required by the current COVID-19 situation there will be some reductions in the university's regular community service activities such as trash pick-up near the uptown and downtown campuses.
